Main uses
It is particularly suitable for extraction and concentration using ethanol, methanol, and acetone as solvents, as well as for the recovery of organic solvents and aromatic oils.
Structure and Features
1. This unit mainly consists of an extraction tank, a single-effect external circulation concentrator and other auxiliary equipment, integrating extraction, concentration and solvent recovery.
2. The yield of the extract is 10-15% higher than that of a multi-functional tank, and the content of effective ingredients in the extract is more than twice as high. During the extraction process, a hot solvent is continuously added to the medicinal materials, passing through the material layer at high speed from top to bottom, dissolving the solutes in the materials. A high gradient is maintained between the solute content in the medicinal materials and the solute content in the solvent, resulting in rapid dissolution of the solutes from the materials and thorough extraction of the effective ingredients, thus leading to a high yield. / This machine is multi-functional (extraction and concentration simultaneously), compact in structure, requires little space, has high equipment utilization, and can be operated by one person, thus saving on investment.
3. Because the concentrated secondary steam is used as the heat source for extraction, the extract drawn into the concentrator is at the same temperature as the concentrate, saving more than 50% of steam compared to conventional concentrators. Furthermore, the equipment operates under negative pressure, allowing the extraction temperature to be adjusted arbitrarily between 50 and 100℃, which is extremely advantageous for the extraction of heat-sensitive drugs and drugs prone to polymerization reactions. It is multi-functional (extracting and concentrating simultaneously), compact in structure, requires little space, has high equipment utilization, and can be operated by one person, thus saving on investment.
